Description
The National Research Council of Canada is purchasing one new, current-production, real-time mixed-signal oscilloscope for high-accuracy characterization of short electrical and optical pulses associated with quantum cascade lasers, interband cascade lasers, laser drivers, and high-speed photodetectors. Mandatory requirements include at least four simultaneously operational analog channels, 4 GHz analog bandwidth on all four channels without interleaving, native 12-bit hardware ADC resolution, typical input-referred RMS noise of no more than 110 mV under specified conditions, and at least 25 GS/s real-time sampling on all four channels simultaneously. The instrument must support simultaneous time- and frequency-domain analysis, FFT and spectral measurements, remote control and automated acquisition through Ethernet plus USB or GPIB, and a documented programming interface compatible with Python or LabVIEW. The offer must include required accessories, software, licenses, calibration before shipment, calibration documentation, compliance test results, operating and programming documentation, and a minimum one-year parts-and-labor warranty with technical support. Optional one-day on-site technical training is also requested. Award will be based on the lowest evaluated price among offers meeting the mandatory technical criteria.
