Description
The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price purchase order for a complete package of fencing materials supporting range improvements. Required supplies include American-made wide- and narrow-blade T-posts with clips, barbed and barbless wire, electric-fence wire and insulators, rebar fence posts, wire stays, 2 7/8-inch drill stem pipe, and 14-foot and 16-foot red heavy-duty metal gates. The gates must be 50 inches tall and constructed from 16-gauge, 2-inch high-tensile steel tubing with welded joints, rolled top corners, and positive-lock chain-and-slot latching systems. All items must be priced; the Government may adjust individual line-item quantities or values by up to 20 percent. The contractor must deliver the materials within 60 calendar days after award, preferably to four locations in New Mexico and Oklahoma: Mountainair Ranger District, Magdalena Ranger District, Black Kettle National Grasslands, and Kiowa & Rita Blanca National Grasslands. The solicitation requires a complete quotation package consisting of the signed Standard Form 1449, Schedule of Items, and Performance Relevancy Questionnaire, along with a technical capability synopsis, identified primary and alternate personnel, equipment list, subcontracting information, and subcontractor details if applicable. Award will be based on technical acceptability, acceptable or neutral past performance, and fair and reasonable pricing, with one award anticipated.
