Description
The State of Utah, through the Division of Wildlife Resources, is soliciting a prequalified contractor to perform hand thinning and piling on up to approximately 115 acres of conifer-encroached wetland habitat. Work includes cutting specified trees, flush-cutting stumps, thinning to required spacing, limbing leave trees, managing slash, and constructing hand piles within specified size and separation limits. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, materials, mobilization, transportation to the site, GPS capability, cleanup, and restoration of any damaged access roads or created ruts. The work must be performed during the October 1 through November 30 performance window, within 60 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, and must begin within seven calendar days of the NTP. Bidders must be on the applicable State of Utah Rangeland Prequalification List and must attend the mandatory in-person site visit. Award is anticipated to be made to a single lowest-cost responsive and responsible bidder. Subcontracting requires prior written approval.
