All work must meet current industry standards and all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Description

Ogden City is seeking a qualified contractor to provide tree pruning, tree removal, and stump grinding services within Ogden City limits. Work includes maintaining the urban forest, removing hazardous or diseased trees and branches, performing specified pruning classes, grinding stumps, removing debris, protecting public and private property, providing traffic and pedestrian controls, and responding to routine and emergency service requests. Services must comply with applicable ANSI, ISA, MUTCD, UDOT, APWA, and federal, state, and local requirements. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, equipment, licenses, permits, safety procedures, traffic control, cleanup, and utility coordination. Proposals are limited to 20 pages and must include authorized representative information, company qualifications and relevant experience, personnel and ISA certifications, equipment and work methodology, availability and response times, at least three similar references completed within the past five years, and evidence of insurability. The initial contract term is three years, with up to two additional one-year renewals at the City's discretion. The City has established unit prices for the initial term, and the selected contractor may be required to provide routine and emergency services without a guaranteed quantity of work.
