Description
Mt. San Antonio College is soliciting custom furniture and related FF&E for its new Technology and Health Replacement Building. The scope covers lecture, laboratory, computer, and specialty classrooms; faculty and adjunct offices; division offices; meeting rooms; storage; and student study and communal spaces. Furniture includes custom reception counters and desks, work tables, computer benching, sheet racks, residential simulation beds, storage components, power modules, wire management, and related accessories. The procurement includes space planning, furniture development and specifications, shop drawings, prototypes and mock-ups, coordination of vendor proposals, procurement support, field verification, delivery, phased storage, and installation. The work must comply with applicable ADA, safety, electrical, BIFMA, UL, California, and other regulatory requirements, with sustainability provisions including domestic sourcing goals and specified recycled-content and environmental documentation for applicable materials. Manufacturers must demonstrate custom fabrication capability, quality control, comparable experience, and the ability to support site coordination. A CNET custom-table mock-up is required before full fabrication. The contract term is estimated at three years beginning November 1, 2026, with pricing firm for the first year subject to limited approved adjustments.
