Lucas County is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in providing professional engineering and surveying services for projects initiated by the Lucas County Engineer's Office. These services will be contracted between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2027, with Lucas County utilizing a quality-based evaluation method for consultant selection. Firms must submit their SOQ electronically to LCESOQSubmittal@co.lucas.oh.us with the subject line "Statement of Qualifications". The SOQ should detail proof of competence and experience, project history with references, professional liability insurance, firm history and office locations, facilities and equipment, qualifications of key personnel, and current Certificate of Authorization from the State of Ohio. Eligibility and certification for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) must also be included. Firms pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be considered pre-qualified by Lucas County. Pre-qualified firms will be notified when services are needed for specific projects.
