Description
The Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program is conducting market research for an upgrade to an existing primary vacuum standard. The requirement includes supplying new hardware such as a power supply box, multiplexor interface cables, rupture disc, ion gauge controller, gauge cables, power supply, and rack rail controller panel. Reconditioned, remanufactured, or used material is not acceptable. The contractor would also modify proprietary software to correct standards and coefficient selections, implement full-scale exercise routines, resolve intermittent pump-down failures, add multi-channel analog calibration workflows, and support the new ion gauge controller. Work includes onsite hardware and software installation, integrated-system validation and verification, operator training, updated operating documentation when system operation changes, and one year of hardware warranty and technical support. This is a sources-sought/RFI notice rather than a solicitation; interested vendors should submit capability information, relevant experience, commercial literature and warranty information, business and ownership details, CAGE and SAM status, sales history, rough-order-of-magnitude pricing, and estimated delivery time.
