Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is soliciting a general contractor for improvements to the existing Lake Logan Dam at Lake Logan State Park. The scope includes rehabilitation of the dam spillway, outlet works, and embankment drainage systems; erosion and sediment control; temporary water control and dewatering; selective demolition; ogee spillway rehabilitation; permanent rock anchors; new spillway walls and slabs; underslab and embankment toe drains; sluice gates and appurtenances; drainage structures and piping; upstream rock protection; concrete repairs; a pedestrian access bridge at the lake drain tower; abandonment of existing piezometers and drainage components; and site restoration. Monitoring instrumentation and parking-lot restoration are included as allowances, and a spillway pedestrian-crossing bridge is included as a bid alternate. The project is subject to prevailing-wage, equal-employment-opportunity, domestic-steel, and Ohio EDGE Business Development Program requirements, with a 5% EDGE participation goal. The estimated general-contract amount is $11,057,300, with a $150,000 bridge alternate. All work must be completed by June 30, 2028.
