Description
The City of Elgin is soliciting a lump-sum bid for event equipment rental supporting the Nightmare on Chicago Street event from October 15 through October 17, 2026. The scope includes tents of various sizes, tables, folding chairs, counters, barstools, lighting, wall panels, step units, and Bil-Jax front-of-house platforms at ticketing areas, entrance gates, stages, and parking lots. The contractor must deliver, install, anchor, and configure the equipment; hang and test lighting; complete specified setup milestones on October 16 and 17; and strike and remove all equipment beginning at 11:30 p.m. on October 17. The bid requires a completed pricing sheet and specified certifications, affidavits, employee-utilization materials, sexual-harassment certification, references, agreement, and certificate of insurance. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the City’s e-bidding portal; paper and email submissions are not accepted.
