Village of Pingree Grove, IL ADVERTISEMENT REQUESTING PROPOSALS The Village of Pingree Grove (Village) is seeking qualified proposals from bidders for the demolition and site restoration of 14N207 Reinking Road, requiring full compliance with all federal, state, and local regula- tions, prevailing wage, and necessary permits, as outlined within this document. Bids must include a lump sum for demolition and restoration, asbestos cost, project timeline, relevant municipal demolition experience, proof of insurance and bonding, and at least three client references. The property is currently not owned by the Village, but the Village anticipates obtaining title to the subject property in mid-October. The issuance of the bid award is contingent upon Village ownership of the subject property. Description
The Village of Pingree Grove is seeking proposals for complete demolition and legal disposal of a single-family home, including its foundation, footings, garage, deck, basement, shrubs, stumps, patios, and related appurtenances at 14N207 Reinking Road. The contractor must disconnect or remove applicable utility services, obtain required permits, provide traffic and erosion controls, remove all debris, backfill excavations, restore the site with topsoil and seed as needed, and comply with federal, state, local, prevailing-wage, and Illinois Environmental Protection Agency requirements. The contractor is responsible for asbestos notification, inspection, removal, and disposal if asbestos is found, as well as any required lead assessment. The proposal must include a lump-sum price, project schedule, respondent profile, project team and project manager experience, three to five similar-project references preferably involving municipal or public-sector properties, and a five-year history of litigation, bankruptcies, foreclosures, disputes, or claims. The selected contractor must provide insurance naming the Village as an additional insured, and demolition must begin within one month of contract approval and be completed within one week. The award is contingent on the Village obtaining ownership of the property.
