Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking continued service and support for its government-owned VoiceOver Pro anatomic pathology dictation system, currently used by pathologists, residents, a hematology fellow, and a grossing technician across up to 12 workstations. The requirement includes VoiceOver Pro software and license maintenance, Nuance SpeechKit subscriptions, VistA integration, delegated workflow functionality, CAP pathologist subscriptions, resident remote training, and input devices such as wired noise-canceling headsets and foot pedals. The contractor must provide installation, customization, software and hardware maintenance, user and administrator training, recurring training for rotating residents, telephone and remote support, software upgrades, and onsite emergency repairs when remote resolution is not possible. The contractor must be Voicebrook or a Voicebrook-authorized third-party vendor, provide a project manager, and comply with applicable Department of Veterans Affairs information-security and personnel-security requirements. The notice states that the agency intends to make a sole-source award to GovSmart Inc.; responses are requested only to identify a comparable and more advantageous source, not as quotations or proposals for direct award.
