Description
Chester Upland School District is soliciting bids for parking lot and site upgrades at Chester High School, Main Street Elementary School, Toby Farms Intermediate School, Chester Upland School of the Arts, and Edgmont Scholars Academy. Work includes parking lot resurfacing, ADA accessibility upgrades, concrete sidewalks and curbs, fencing, and stormwater management improvements. The solicitation is an invitation for bids and will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. A bid bond or equivalent surety equal to 10% of the overall bid price is required, and the successful bidder must provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount within 10 calendar days after written notice of acceptance. The project is subject to applicable Pennsylvania prevailing-wage, public-works bonding, steel-products, employment-verification, human-relations, school-code, and education requirements.
