Description
Columbia Soil and Water Conservation District is soliciting sealed electronic bids for an in-stream habitat restoration project near Clatskanie, Oregon. The work includes tree harvest and trimming; bank laybacks; excavation and reconstruction of stream channels; reconnection of historic side channels; installation of log, rootwad, lateral jam, toe log, alcove habitat, and floodplain structures; Beaver Dam Analogue posts; streambank improvements; grading and seeding; erosion and sediment controls; site isolation and dewatering; fish salvage; and related site restoration. The contractor must furnish the labor, materials, equipment, permits, and incidentals required to complete the project. This is an Oregon public works project subject to prevailing-wage requirements. Bids must include 10% bid security, a prevailing-wage compliance statement, resident-bidder status information, and required subcontractor disclosures. Bidders must be properly licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board or, where applicable, the Oregon Landscape Contractors Board. The solicitation package includes the Invitation to Bid, technical specifications, plan set, and Contractor's Bid Sheet. Award is intended for the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
