Description
Washington County is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors to repair and replace damaged bridge railing and deck components on Bridge #671280 at the Stringtown Road crossing of Gales Creek. The work includes concrete removal, reinforcing steel installation, and construction of new standard concrete handrail and deck sections in accordance with Oregon Department of Transportation drawings. The solicitation is classified as ordinary construction and includes bridge reconstruction, rehabilitation, maintenance, repair, and guard-rail-related work. The project requires on-site construction services, including labor, materials, equipment, temporary access and containment, traffic control and detour signing, environmental compliance, and incidental work. ODOT prequalification for REIN—Bridges and Structures is required. The estimated expenditure is $200,000–$250,000, completion is required by March 31, 2027, and bid, performance, and payment bonds are required.
