Description
The U.S. Coast Guard requires comprehensive bilge cleaning services for the USCG WMSL CGC KIMBALL, stationed at Coast Guard Base Honolulu, Hawaii. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and transportation necessary to safely clean, remove, and properly dispose of oily water, sludge, debris, and other contaminants from designated bilge spaces. Services include confined space access, pumping and removal of bilge liquids, surface cleaning, and waste disposal in strict accordance with federal, state, local, and Coast Guard environmental regulations. The contractor must ensure all operations adhere to applicable safety standards, environmental compliance requirements, and cutter-specific access and security procedures. This service is critical for maintaining the cutter's operational readiness and environmental compliance by ensuring bilge spaces are kept clean, dry, and free of contaminants. The work is scheduled to take place between August 17 and August 21, between the hours of 0800 and 1500. The contractor must possess appropriate base access and TWIC credentials for Base Honolulu. All personnel assigned to this contract, including subcontractors, must be U.S. citizens and possess a valid RAPID ID or CAC card for base access. Compliance with OSHA standards and Coast Guard safety policies is mandatory.
