Description
Helendale School District is soliciting sealed bids from a Class B general building contractor for public-works site work and shade structures at Helendale Elementary School. Bidders must be registered with California's Department of Industrial Relations and maintain an active contractor license throughout the contract. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements and DIR compliance monitoring. Attendance at the October 29, 2026 job walk is mandatory. The selected contractor is expected to begin work on or about December 7, 2026, and complete all work by August 6, 2027. Each bid requires a 10% bid bond; the successful bidder must provide 100% payment and performance bonds. Electronic submissions are not accepted; bids must be sealed, marked as specified, and delivered to the architect's office.
