Description
The City seeks a concessionaire to provide small-boat rental services to the public from its dock at Eagle Harbor Waterfront Park. The concessionaire must supply all rental equipment, including hand-launch vessels, and propose an inventory specifying equipment type, size, and quality. The proposal must describe services, staff expertise, operating hours and seasonal schedule, use of the city boat ramp, off-site parking arrangements, and the proposer’s capacity to obtain required licenses and insurance. Reservations and payments must be handled remotely or off-site; the dock has no office, and parking is not included. The selected concessionaire will pay $2,500 annually for rent and utilities, in quarterly installments. Required insurance includes commercial general liability coverage of at least $5 million per occurrence and $10 million aggregate, plus all-risk property insurance covering the full value of the concessionaire’s property and improvements. The lease term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029. Proposals are limited to five pages.
