Description
The Town of Forest City is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified architectural and engineering firms to prepare a Preliminary Architectural Report and, as needed, a Preliminary Engineering Report for improvements to its fire department facility. The anticipated project includes additions to the existing facility for additional bedrooms and living space for fire personnel, plus a separate storage building for fire apparatus, equipment, supplies, and related operational needs. The selected firm will evaluate existing conditions and needs, develop and compare alternatives, prepare conceptual plans, develop planning-level cost estimates and schedules, and complete the PAR/PER documentation supporting the Town's Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery Infrastructure application. Respondents must submit one printed copy and one electronic PDF, identified as “Fire Department Facility PAR/PER RFQ.”
