Description
Cornell University is soliciting bids from one general contractor for the Computing and Communications Center Building Electrical Service Entrance Upgrade. The work includes furnishing all labor, services, materials, and supplies required by the contract documents, with the base bid, alternates, unit prices, proposed substitutions, project team and resumes, project schedule, and subcontractor/material supplier information submitted through the electronic bid portal. A 10% bid bond is required at bid submission. The successful contractor must provide 100% performance and labor and material payment bonds before on-site construction begins. Work must start within 15 calendar days after written authorization to proceed and reach substantial completion by October 1, 2027. The solicitation states that the award is intended for the lowest responsive and responsible base bid from a qualified general contractor.
