Description
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen is seeking qualified proponents to complete Phase 3 of the Olalla Groundwater Protection Plan and advance it toward implementation. Olalla relies on a single community groundwater well as its sole source of potable water. The work builds on prior aquifer characterization, capture-zone delineation, contaminant inventory, and risk-assessment studies. The selected consultant will complete a detailed contaminant inventory, flood-risk assessment, groundwater protection-area designation, contingency planning, and development of groundwater protection measures. Proponents are encouraged to offer innovative approaches and additional value. Full technical requirements and submission instructions are available through the RDOS Bonfire portal.
