Description
Pleasant Ridge School District is soliciting proposals for leased lit fiber transport to establish a private, multi-point wide area network connecting its District Office hub with Alta Sierra and Arete Charter Academy. Each of the three sites must support at least 1 Gbps of symmetrical bandwidth, with pricing for available 2 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps tiers or other higher-bandwidth upgrades. The provider must furnish, install, own, manage, and maintain the necessary electronics and a provider-owned demarcation appliance at each site. Copper or fiber handoff is acceptable. Internet access is excluded; the requested service is E-Rate Category One leased lit fiber transport only. Proposals must identify one-time and recurring costs, applicable taxes and fees, eligible and ineligible items, and available month-to-month, one-year, or multi-year contract options up to five years. Bids must be submitted as PDF files by email, include the vendor's SPIN and contact information, and comply with the stated E-Rate and procurement requirements.
