The City of Tampa Wastewater Department seeks design services for replacement of the 43rd Street Pump Station force main. The work includes evaluating alternate routes and designing the selected route, along with survey, geotechnical services, subsurface utility engineering, cost estimating, specifications, utility coordination, permitting, and assistance with easement acquisition as needed. The scope also includes public outreach, limited bid assistance, project management, limited construction engineering and inspection services such as shop drawing reviews, responses to requests for information, and inspections, plus preparation of as-builts and permit close-outs. The existing force main is approximately 16,423 linear feet of 24-inch prestressed concrete cylinder pipe.
