Description
Caribou Utilities District is requesting bids for the Wastewater Treatment Plant and Grimes Road Pump Station Generator Project. The work includes supplying and installing a new backup power generator to serve both wastewater facilities, removing the existing generator and fuel tanks, and completing electrical and controls upgrades needed to integrate the new generator into the system. The project is subject to Build America, Buy America Act, American Iron and Steel, Davis-Bacon, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, and other federal requirements associated with Clean Water State Revolving Fund and FEMA funding. A bid bond equal to five percent of the bid is required for bids over $125,000; payment and performance bonds are required at contract signing when the bid amount is $125,000 or greater.
