Description
Delgado Community College is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids for new construction of a maritime aquatic facility on its existing campus. The work includes a sidewalk connection to adjacent school-building sidewalks, a first responder river rescue training pool, pool deck, covered pool equipment pad, and an additive alternate for two restrooms and showers. Bids must be submitted by licensed Louisiana contractors holding the Building Construction classification. A bid security equal to 5% of the total bid is required and may be provided as a certified or cashier's check or bid bond. The successful bidder must furnish performance and labor-and-materials payment bonds. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled at the Maritime & Industrial Training Center.
