Description
Palm Beach County seeks firm, fixed pricing for a term contract supplying bulk liquid ferrous and ferric sulfate blend for odor and corrosion control in its wastewater collection system. The scope includes delivery of approximately 4,500-gallon truckloads, dosing equipment at specified feed stations, installation, and ongoing equipment maintenance and monitoring. The chemical must meet the stated concentration and quality specifications and the applicable AWWA standard; each delivery must include product quality documentation. The contractor must provide weekly site visits and monitoring, adjust dosing as needed, maintain online sulfide meters and remote tank-level monitoring, provide reporting, inspect injection quills twice yearly, and respond onsite within six hours to emergencies or odor complaints. The initial contract term is 12 months, with four optional 12-month renewals. The solicitation states an anticipated contract value of $1,950,000 for the term, subject to changes in actual requirements.
