Description
Irvine Unified School District is establishing a consultant pool of approximately 8 to 15 experienced firms to provide prevailing-wage labor compliance monitoring and enforcement for upcoming PK-12 school facility projects, including new construction, modernization, renovation, and expansion. Qualified firms may later be invited to submit separate fee proposals for specific projects; inclusion in the pool does not guarantee future work. The anticipated services include semi-monthly construction-site interviews and summary reports, development of labor-compliance requirements for public-works bid documents, attendance at preconstruction and construction-progress meetings, certified-payroll review, contractor coordination, reporting noncompliance to the California Department of Industrial Relations, public-records-request support, correspondence with contractors and government entities, and maintenance of an electronic certified-payroll filing system. Responses must address firm qualifications, California PK-12 school district and Division of the State Architect experience, ten completed California PK-12 construction projects from the past ten years, at least three California PK-12 school district references, litigation history, and the proposed project team and subconsultants. Addendum No. 01 requires acknowledgment of all issued addenda, clarifies that project-team resumes belong in the Project Team section, and permits additional detailed resumes and project data sheets as attachments. The RFQ submittal is limited to fifteen content pages, double-sided.
