Description
Lennox School District is soliciting a contractor for the Jefferson Elementary Campus-Wide Interior Fencing and Gates project. The scope includes approximately 6-foot-high galvanized interior chain-link fencing; pedestrian and maintenance gates; vehicle and pedestrian service gates; concrete flatwork, walkways, and mow strips; gate hardware; and a Knox Box. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, tools, and related transportation and utility services in accordance with the project drawings and specifications. Bidders must hold active California contractor license classifications B and C-13 at bid submission and throughout the contract term. The project is subject to California prevailing-wage, labor-compliance, apprenticeship, accessibility, Division of the State Architect, inspection, testing, school-site safety, and public-works requirements. The bid package requires a bid security equal to at least 10% of the bid, with a bid bond or certified/cashier's check permitted. Required bid materials include the District's bid and subcontractor forms, notarized non-collusion declaration, workers' compensation certificate, DVBE participation statement, site visit certification, references, and any applicable substitution request. Technical and post-award requirements include product data, shop drawings, gate hardware schedules, and conditional electronic-hardware diagrams and narratives.
