Description
East Irondequoit Central School District is soliciting hourly custodial equipment repair services and related materials for routine and emergency service calls. The contractor must provide all labor, parts, materials, transportation, disposal, insurance, and supervision necessary to repair equipment including auto scrubbers, floor machines, carpet extractors, carpet sweepers, floor burnishers, commercial tank vacuums, and upright vacuum cleaners. The contractor must be able to service equipment from Clarke, Windsor, Tomcat, Advance, Minuteman, and Kärcher, perform on-site repairs, respond to same-day requests within four hours when required, and maintain a repair shop within 25 miles of 125 Kane Drive, Rochester, New York. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of custodial equipment repair experience and have been in business for at least three years. Pricing is based on hourly labor charges, with the service term running from October 7, 2026, through June 30, 2027, or until available funds are exhausted. The solicitation requires prevailing-wage compliance, insurance coverage, customer references, and detailed estimates for requested work. The district may designate primary, secondary, and tertiary vendors and may award by item or for the entire bid.
