Description
This program aims to support retrofits in low-to-moderate income (LMI) multifamily buildings located in upstate New York, specifically north of the Con Ed service territory. The initiative will focus on energy efficiency and decarbonization projects, including refrigerator replacements, direct in-unit installations, weatherization, electrification, deep retrofits, and climate resilience enhancements. NYSERDA will provide cost-sharing for technical assistance, concierge support services, and installed measures, with the percentage varying based on building size. Eligible projects must involve affordable housing, with at least 25 percent of units occupied by households earning no more than 80 percent of the Area Median Income or State Median Income. Each participating building must contain at least two dwelling units, and projects must include a minimum of five dwelling units.
