Description
The City of Edmonds seeks a consultant team to develop preliminary designs for restoring the Edmonds Marsh estuary to reduce flooding and expand habitat. Work includes conceptual alternatives; hydraulic modeling and flood assessments; stormwater analysis and infrastructure concepts; community engagement; geotechnical and cultural-resource studies; appraisal support; 30% design drawings and a basis-of-design report; permitting and habitat-study planning; cost estimates for later project phases; and review of project materials prepared by community volunteers. Deliverables include reports for the project activities. Draft reports are due September 1, 2028, with final reports and project completion scheduled for December 1, 2028. Submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) by email as a PDF, limited to 25 pages (including resumes), single-spaced, in at least 12-point type, and assembled in a single volume. The SOQ must address the executive summary, project approach, project manager and team qualifications and experience, and references/past performance. References must cover three to five similar projects from the past five years and include project dates, dollar amounts, and contact details. The City may invite selected firms to make oral presentations.
