The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences intends to procure sole-source College of American Pathologists proficiency testing services and samples for FY 2027. Required line items include CAP/ADLM whole-blood alcohol and volatiles testing, forensic toxicology and criminalistics, oral-fluid drugs-of-abuse testing, a CAP generic survey binder, and a fuel surcharge. The procurement is intended to support continued accreditation and compliance with National Association of Medical Examiners requirements, ISO 17025, and ANAB requirements. The contract is fixed-price for the period from award through September 30, 2027, with an annual agreement. An ISO certificate must be provided with the bid response.
