Description
The City of Ithaca, Department of Public Works is soliciting bids for construction materials testing and inspection services for various projects included in their 2026-2027 Construction Program. These services will be provided on an as-needed basis for projects such as sidewalk improvements, street and facilities projects, asphalt trail repairs, bathroom renovations, parking garage repairs, street permits work, and other miscellaneous city projects. The contract is a not-to-exceed contract, and the estimated final delivery date for the services is May 22, 2027. The consultant will be responsible for providing on-call testing and inspections for building, soils, concrete, paving components, and construction materials. Reports of testing and inspection results must be provided and certified by a Professional Engineer (PE), Engineer in Training (EIT), or other qualified person. The City reserves the right to extend the contract for up to three additional one-year terms, subject to funding approval and service review.
