Description
SUNY Orange / Orange County Community College, serving as lead agency in partnership with CoreTrust Purchasing Group, is issuing a best-value RFP for a nationwide cooperative purchasing contract for shredding and document destruction services. The scope includes secure collection and destruction of documents and other media, with related services such as mobile or off-site destruction, chain-of-custody documentation, and certificates of destruction. Proposals will be evaluated on overall value, including quality, technical capability, past performance, and ability to meet cooperative contract needs. The contract term is November 2, 2026, through October 31, 2029, with two one-year extension options. Piggybacking by participating agencies is permitted. Proposals must be submitted as a physical bid package containing one separately bound hard copy, one signed and notarized-where-indicated unbound original, and one searchable digital copy; cost information must be submitted separately and excluded from the non-cost proposal copies.
