Description
The Town of Bedford, New York is seeking sealed bids for a comprehensive list of road maintenance materials and services. The solicitation includes various types of bituminous concrete, cold patch materials (conventional, green alternative, and UPM High Performance), crushed stone and gravel, winter sand, liquid de-icing agents (calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, envirobrine), and flake snow melt (potassium chloride and calcium chloride). Additionally, the bid covers pavement marking services and materials, including reflectorized yellow and white epoxy and latex paints for application by the vendor, as well as the removal of existing latex/acrylic line markings using a hydro blasting machine. The scope also includes thermoplastic reflectorized pavement markings, white acrylic zone marking paint, and various types of concrete (4000 psi, low carbon 4000 psi, and flowable fill). Finally, the solicitation requests bids for corrugated polyethylene drainage pipe and connection collars in 12", 15", and 18" diameters. Bid prices must remain valid for all orders placed for delivery on or before August 1, 2026. The Town of Bedford reserves the right to accept or reject any bids in whole or in part.
