Description
Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory is soliciting proposals for as-needed hoisting and rigging equipment support services, including periodic inspections, remedial or corrective maintenance, routine manufacturer-recommended maintenance, large repairs, and functional checks of equipment safety features and interlocks. The contractor may also provide advice on crane upgrades and performance enhancements. Familiarity with and qualification to maintain and adjust cranes equipped with Catron/Electromotive radio remote controls and variable frequency drives is mandatory. Offerors must submit an offeror information and pricing form, representations and certifications, an E-Verify certification, a quality assurance manual, a list of past overhead crane maintenance projects, a key personnel resume for the on-site technical team lead, and documentation of at least two similar projects completed within the past 10 years. The procurement is unrestricted, has no guaranteed minimum workload, and is expected to use a basic ordering agreement with fixed-price or time-and-materials job orders.
