Description
The U.S. Department of Energy is conducting market research for a potential no-cost-to-the-Government arrangement covering the placement, operation, maintenance, cash replenishment, monitoring, security, and eventual removal of commercially available automated teller machines. DOE anticipates one ATM at each of the Forrestal Building in Washington, D.C., and Germantown Building in Germantown, Maryland. The provider would generally be responsible for equipment, installation, operating costs, maintenance, cash handling, security, and restoration associated with its equipment, subject to DOE approval of locations and facility modifications. DOE is also seeking information about an optional in-person banking service at the Germantown facility, potentially including checking, savings, loan, and financial-planning services. Responses should describe the proposed ATM capabilities, fees and revenue model, site and connectivity requirements, accessibility, cybersecurity and anti-skimming controls, facility-access needs, maintenance and uptime approach, personnel and subcontractor use, relevant experience, and recommended future agreement structure. This is a Sources Sought/RFI for market research only, not a solicitation or promise of a future contract.
