Description
Alachua County, Florida is issuing this RFP to select a private partner to provide annual track & field event management and timing services for the Alachua County Sports & Events Center (ACSEC). The ACSEC features a World Athletics compliant indoor track with Mondo surfaces, and hosts numerous track & field events from January through March, including national championships. The selected partner will serve as the event management team for County-owned or hosted athletics events, developing event strategy, marketing plans, recruiting athletes and teams, managing officials, coordinating online entry and ticketing, and providing consulting services. Additionally, the partner will serve as the timing contractor, providing timing services for all running events using Finishlynx camera systems, managing data, providing real-time results, and coordinating with livestream production. The contract is expected to begin October 1, 2026, and continue through September 30, 2028, with two optional two-year renewals.
