JEA, a municipal utility in Jacksonville, Florida, is soliciting bids for the engineering, design, fabrication, and installation of replacement transition duct liner systems for two gas turbine units. The scope includes demolition and removal of existing liners in sections G, H, and J of the transition duct on each gas turbine, and the supply and installation of new liner, hardware, and insulation systems for the last three sections of each Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) transition duct in its entirety (4 surfaces). The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, materials, cranes, subcontractors, and scaffolding. The project is a one-time purchase with a bid bond requirement of 5% of the total bid price. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting minimum qualifications, which include completion of three similar projects in the past five years, each totaling at least 3,000 square feet or $200,000.
