Description
Nassau County is seeking qualified, licensed, insured, and bonded contractors to provide demolition and removal services under a five-year initial contract with two additional one-year renewal options. The scope includes removing structures, fences, walls, foundations, furnishings, vehicles, slabs, decks, pools, vegetation, and general lot debris; capping or abandoning wells; removing and filling septic tanks; disposing of construction and regulated materials; and supplying all labor, equipment, transportation, and disposal. Contractors must leave each parcel level, clean, safe, and free of protruding materials, fill cavities, complete finish grading, protect designated vegetation, and install approved sod in disturbed areas. Asbestos surveys and abatement are required when applicable, and bidders self-performing asbestos work must provide the appropriate Florida licensing. Bidders must hold an eligible Florida contractor license and demonstrate at least three successfully completed residential or commercial demolition projects within the past five years.
