Description
JEA is soliciting a contractor to provide installation and repair services for automatic gates and doors. The work will be performed under a nonexclusive contract and may include labor, materials, equipment, permits, safety compliance, emergency support, shop drawings, testing, and related documentation required by the technical specifications. The contract is for five years, with two additional one-year renewal periods at JEA's discretion. Award will generally be made to the lowest responsive and responsible respondent meeting the minimum qualifications. Respondents must document three similar automatic gate and door installation and repair contracts completed or in progress within the past five years; each reference contract must include at least one year of work valued at $50,000 or more and a single project valued at $35,000 or more. A mandatory pre-response meeting is required, and responses must include the specified qualification, response, pricing, and subcontractor materials. Insurance, safety qualification, licensing, background screening, and possible payment and performance bonds apply under the solicitation terms.
