Description
This invitation to bid covers construction of a new building for a sewer pretreatment station and related sanitary sewer infrastructure upgrades. The scope includes site modifications, a screening pit, bar screen and washer-compactor equipment, heating, ventilation and exhaust systems, plumbing and utility connections, lighting, electrical service, power distribution, controls, and equipment connections. Drawings, specifications, and a geotechnical report are included in the solicitation package. Bidders must submit the completed bid summary, bid form, bid bond or alternate bid security, non-collusion affidavit, applicable asbestos abatement attestation, state project registration documentation, and any requested qualified disabled veteran preference documentation. A five percent bid guarantee is required, and performance and payment bonds are required for bids over $50,000. The mandatory pre-bid meeting and on-site walk-through require contractor representatives to complete the MDOC LEIN request process before attending.
