Mountain Regional Water Special Service District is soliciting construction bids for replacement of approximately 2,330 linear feet of 8-inch DR18 C900 PVC water line on Upper Evergreen Drive. The work includes service laterals, meter-vault replacement or reconnection, fire hydrant installation, relocation or removal, temporary water service connections, connections to existing water lines, utility coordination, testing and disinfection, erosion and sediment controls, traffic and pedestrian control, excavation and trench restoration, and restoration of disturbed asphalt, landscaping, and other surfaces. The drawings require compliance with District, Summit County, APWA, UDDW, OSHA, and applicable state and federal requirements. Contractors must field-verify utilities, obtain required permits, provide temporary water and sanitary-sewer systems as needed, prepare record drawings, and provide required material testing and environmental controls. A mandatory on-site pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 26, 2026. Bids are due November 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Mountain time, by email or delivery to the District office. The project has an approximate January 15, 2027 notice to proceed, substantial completion by September 15, 2027, and final completion by October 15, 2027.
