Description
This sources-sought notice requests industry capability and interest information for a planned follow-on multiple-award IDIQ contract for depot-level maintenance and repair availabilities on submarines homeported or visiting in San Diego. The work is limited to specified forward areas of 688-class, Virginia-class, and Trident-class submarines; it excludes nuclear, SUBSAFE, radiological-control, and aft-of-Frame-50 work. The contractor is expected to furnish the labor, equipment, materials, and facilities needed for the work described in the draft Statement of Work. Respondents are asked to provide a signed letter of interest on company letterhead, no more than five pages, describing their company, identifiers, relevant capabilities and recent past performance, and answering the notice’s questions about business size, staffing, clearances, submarine experience, and intent to submit a proposal to the anticipated solicitation. This is market research, not a request for proposal or an offer to award a contract.
