Description
The County of San Diego is seeking a contractor to remove and dispose of one existing Marvair unit and supply and install one 5-ton Bard W60AF-A05XP4XXJ air-conditioning unit, or equivalent, with low-ambient control. The work also includes supplying and installing an ICM492 control, an RSH50 surge-protection device, mounting hardware, electrical whips, control wiring, metal transition pieces, sealant, supports, electrical connections, testing, cleanup, and all related labor and materials. The contractor must hold an active California C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning Contractor's Classification License and California Department of Industrial Relations registration. Installation must be completed within 30 calendar days of the agreement's effective date, with a one-year warranty on installation and labor and the manufacturer's full warranty on the supplied air-conditioning unit. Quotes must include the required County forms, applicable equivalent-product specifications, a certificate of insurance, contractor and DIR registration numbers, a completed payment schedule, acceptance of the draft agreement, and any applicable confidential/proprietary information exhibit. Electronic quotes must be submitted as searchable PDF files where practicable, with each exhibit separated into clearly named files and all pages consecutively numbered within the exhibit. A handwritten signature by an authorized offeror representative is required.
