Description
The U.S. Navy seeks a firm-fixed-price job order for assessment support and repairs to the USS Rushmore’s well deck. Work includes removing synthetic decking and batterboard panels to support inspections, scaffolding, visual inspection and reporting, and repairs to deck plate, seams and butts, pitted surfaces, vehicle lashing sockets, and synthetic panels. The contractor must fabricate and install replacement components, perform required welding and nondestructive testing, conduct watertight-boundary air tests, and clean and preserve affected surfaces. Some materials are government-furnished. Offerors must hold an active U.S. Navy Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in the Japan Region, or meet the stated conditions for obtaining one before award. The work period is November 16, 2026, through July 31, 2027. Proposals are submitted by email; fax, hand delivery, or mail are alternatives only if technical problems prevent email submission.
