Description
Sacramento County Department of Airports is seeking one or more qualified operators to install, stock, operate, and maintain automated vending machines at Sacramento International Airport and Sacramento Executive Airport. The program includes approximately 20 employee-facing machines across nine Sacramento International Airport locations, approximately 36 public-facing machines across 10 locations, and two machines at Sacramento Executive Airport, with additional locations potentially added during negotiations. Operators may propose multiple locations or separate proposals for individual locations and must provide product offerings, pricing, machine designs, utility and data requirements, staffing, inventory, maintenance, customer service, sustainability, waste management, sales projections, and percentage-rent proposals. The selected operator will be responsible for all equipment, installation, products, supplies, delivery, stocking, maintenance, reporting, security compliance, and applicable licenses and permits. Machines must operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week, accept U.S. currency and major credit cards, comply with accessibility and airport security requirements, and meet specified insurance requirements. The agreement term is up to five years, with rent based on a percentage of gross revenue; the County may establish additional receiving, waste, utility, and support-space fees.
