Description
Lewis County is requesting statements of qualifications from consulting firms for permanent repair of a roadway slide at Davis Lake Road MP 1.67. The scope includes site investigation, at least two drilled borings, geotechnical analysis, geological cross-sections, three conceptual repair alternatives with cost estimates, and development of the selected alternative through 60%, 90%, and 100% plans, specifications, special provisions, and construction estimates. Potential repair approaches include weighted toe support and soldier pile walls with or without tiebacks. The selected consultant will also provide project management, coordination, quality assurance and quality control, permitting-compliant design, a cultural resource survey with up to 30 shovel probes, and a cultural resources report meeting applicable federal, state, and Section 106 standards. The statement of qualifications is limited to 15 pages and must address qualifications, relevant experience, staffing, project management, and coordination capabilities. The agreement is expected to last approximately 18 months, with possible extensions and future construction-phase support.
