Description
The Park Ridge Board of Education is soliciting bids for Contract #8A, which involves auditorium renovations at Park Ridge High School. The bid documents were prepared by LAN Associates and are available for inspection at their offices. Bid documents can be obtained by emailing biddocs@lanassociates.com with the project name and LAN job number. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required for each bid package. Technical questions should be directed to Mr. Christopher S. Borduin at LAN Associates. Further information can be obtained from Mr. Robert Wright, Business Administrator/Board Secretary. Bidders must complete all bid forms and comply with all instructions and specifications. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Park Ridge Board of Education, clearly marked with the project name. A bid bond or certified check of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000, is required. Bidders and subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and provide proof of registration. Bidders must also provide their own New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and that of all subcontractors, along with a W-9 tax form. Bidders must be classified by NJDPMC and NJSDA in General Construction (C008) or General Construction - Alterations & Additions (C009). Bidders must comply with The Law Against Discrimination and Affirmative Action requirements. This project may be funded in part by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (SDA), and contractors must agree to be bound by the terms of a Grant Agreement if applicable. Bidders on the State Treasurer's or Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders are ineligible. The last day for questions is June 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., with an addendum to be issued by June 18, 2026. Bids are due by 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, and will be opened publicly at that time. Bids cannot be withdrawn for sixty (60) days. The Park Ridge Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
