Description
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole-source contract to Security Engineered Machinery (SEM), the original equipment manufacturer, for preventive maintenance inspections on an existing SEM Disintegrator/Shredder, Model 1424/26940, at Hanscom Air Force Base. The anticipated contract includes one base year and four option years. Interested parties may submit a capability statement by email. The notice is not a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid, and responses will be treated as information rather than proposals. The Government states that SEM is the only authorized source because of proprietary technical data, trained field personnel, OEM standards, and warranty considerations.
