Description
Cass County is soliciting sealed hard-copy bids for rehabilitation of Poney Creek Road Bridge #3060004. The work includes demolishing the existing bridge deck, curb, and guardrails; installing a new bridge deck and guardrails; painting girder ends; and performing spot treatment of girders. Bidders must purchase the plans and specifications through Great River Engineering and be listed on the planholder list. Contractors must be on the Missouri Department of Transportation Qualified Contractor List, comply with Missouri prevailing-wage requirements, and provide a 5% certified cashier’s check or bid bond with each proposal. The project has a 0% DBE goal, prohibits second-tier subcontracting, and requires a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program for applicable on-site employees within 60 days of beginning work.
